How to read a cubic feet gas meter- are the red numbers feet?
Then the white number immediatley to the left is 100s of feet?
My meter look like this 2211 72.
I'm trying to work out the cost of a bath.
The meter goes up by 11 on the red digits - am I right in assuming the red digits will be cubic feet? I need to know this so I can convert it in to kWh.

Yes a unit on an Imperial unit is 100 cubic feet. and is approx 31kWh
So a cubic foot is approx 0.31kWh.
So your bath was 3.4kWh - say 11pence - did you enjoy the bath?0 -
Yes, it helped my aching muscles.:D0

Don't forget - nobody actually reads the RED numbers for billing.0
