Hi,
Long story short,
me and my wife have a mortage on our house. we both lost our jobs, twice i might add.
Mortgage protection is paying the mortgage at the moment but with all the other bills, we cant keep up living in debt.
i was just wondering if there was a quick way to get a sale on our house.
it has been valued at 130k max selling through an estate agents. we have looked at these companies that buy your house but to be honest, they look rubiish after reading that they only offer you 70% of what the house is worth.
a settlement fee for our mortgage is just under 130k. we dont really have money to spend on HIPS and legal fees etc and the time it might take to sell.
is there any other way, or different approach we can take?
thanks

IN a nutshell, NO!! The only possible way to sell quickly is to make the house an absolute bargain and drop the price drastically - but I think you probably know that.0

drop the price and or stick it in an auction0
-
have you contacted your lender and told them your situation - they might be able to give you a payment holiday while you sell - depends on how long you have had the mortgage and what the T&Cs are0
