I'll be watching this thread with interest as I'm looking for an organic company that would deliver to my area (S.E. London) in the evening or at the weekend.

Actually, I think there's a great business opportunity here for someone with initiative. Just think about all the people who work full-time in London, live in flats, have a high disposable income and are keen to eat organic food. If someone set up a company to deliver organic food at a time when people are actually at home, I'm sure they'd make a fortune.

I've used the Organic Delivery Co for several months, and I'm quite happy with them. They delivery in the evening on weekdays, in all London.
They have much more than only veg, you can vary your order weekly using their website. But they don't supply meat.

What about Broadway market in E8 on Saturdays. Longwood Farm from Suffolk sell meat there and they are Soil Association approved. I can highly recommend their meat. You will also find organic fruit and veg stalls.

I think there is an organic market in Old Spitalfields E1 on a Sundays.

Cheers grits, but the reasonI Want the delivery is so I dont get tempted at things I dnt need- farmers markets a very weak point for me!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Hi, monthly on a saturday there is one in Manor House Gardens and in Dulwich college, and there's a french farmers market on Lewisham High Street the last sunday of the month (it's amazing!)
There is also a fortnightly one in Forest Hill, One in Bexlyheath the first thursday of every month, Greenwich Village every friday, and Beckenham Green every Sunday.

    phew..hehee

The Farm I work for are not quite in london yet with our box scheme, but we do cocer east kent, and will be soon expanding to west kent, and we may cover london in the future. https://www.perrycourtfarm.com

our box scheme has the benfit that 80% of the year all the vegetables in the box are sourced from our farm, and the vegetables are not only organic but Bio-Dynamic - on land that has been orgainc for 50 years!
  • ok this post is a bit old, but hey I have found out myself just now, so someone else might read it again soon...

I dont about the Veg home delivery, but I do get my fresh meat from allensofmayfair.co.uk

they have lots of offers through their newsletter (almost every week)...
Delivery is good and when phoning them up they are very helpfull :-) They do have a shop in Mayfair but I have never tried it.

    hope this help

Growing Communities deliver to various pick up points in Hackney.
Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
    And we were young.
