That's actually quite funny. If I offer them £3m do you think they'd be interested? :)

Sorry, thought some might find it amusing. I'll post it over there instead.

When I was previously looking 5-6 yrs ago there was a house we wanted to look at which put it's price up (starting at 120 ... in stages to about 160) again and again and again. We never got a viewing and in the end bought where we are now.
That house is up for sale for 220k again recently. It's never sold but clearly some delusional fool things it's worth it.

Prices crashed so much, you now get the whole village thrown in with the higher price.

Probably not, a 350% increase every three months would mean the price was somewhere near £4billion by now. I wonder how many viewings they've had? :)

The funny thing is that this area is not that expensive and you can get a country manor style house with acres and acres for that sort of price. You can get a whole house in one of the Crescent's just down the road in Bath for a similar price!!

Plus having a Radstock postcode is said by some to knock quite a lot off the house price - of course I couldn't possibly comment!

Just out of interest, what do you class as a Radstock postcode? BA3 applies to quite a wide area, my house included :D I'm assuming you live in Bath which is why you're being snobby about Radstock :p(I'm joking by the way - even those of us with Radstock postcodes use Bath in the address instead)
