    Hi Dawn and welcome.;)

Yes if you were mis sold for any reason then go for it, it makes no difference if you have DMP or not.;)

Here is the link to useful info and templates, if you require any help then please ask, good luck.

I would write to the banks complaints dept or the main office if they do not have a separate dept for this.;)

I have not got a clue about calculations to be honest, but you could if you want to and if you not done so yet, is to request a Subject access request (SAR), they have 40 days to comply and send everything they hold on you.
However, there is a payment of £10 postal order or cheque payment that you have to enclose for this request.

Or another way is to write to them and ask if they would kindly send you the calculations of the loan and ppi etc, they may do this free of charge.

Do you have the agreement for this loan, the one you signed when you taken this out?

If not write and enclose a £1 postal order or cheque payment for this and ask that they sent you your agreement (CCA) by 12 days and post by recorded delivery - same for the SAR if you want to request for this.;)

Can I add if you win on the missale (where you asked what would happen to the refund??) i would think that they could use it against the loan though as that is how most redress's are made if there are arrears. Maybe someone that has actually done this will know for definate and post but that is usual if you have arrears on a loan. I am not 100% sure on a DMP though but would think the same. Even if it does work this way at least your debts are reducing so all is not lost.
