Nope but I have dealt with another company that are run by DRL (who also run Sainsburys and Boots Appliances)
Ordered an LG Fridge Freezer and a BOSCH Washer. Although they screwed up on delivery and the two items arrived on different days (weeks apart) I was compensated £80 for my troubles. (strange that, because i could only account for £18 of losses, but I think they miss-heard me over the phone)
It took a long time to get through to the customer service team and the Team Leader who was dealing with my case seemed to avoid my calls despite me having her direct dial.
After maybe four calls which could have been avoided, they awarded me the good will gesture.
I can't really moan, because after factoring factoring in the good will, sale prices, discount codes and quidco, I saved a packet.
DRL aren't the best company to deal with, but if you want cheap you take the rough with the smooth. My farts hospitalize small children0 -

Sorry just noticed your response, and had to look for the invoice. The company was Appliances Online my delivery was at the beginning of April 2008.
In all after calculating the total saving the hassle was a small price to pay. I more or less got my BOSCH washer for around £50 and on the total package saved around £300 compared to buying from Currys. My farts hospitalize small children0 -
If they had tried to sort my delivery out I may have received my Fridge but they just said more or less tuff luck. The price was not any cheaper then the high street.
But thanks for your coments it may help someone else.0 -
I have brought a washing machine from Boots than arrived dead on the time they stated. Also the delivery guy had trouble installing it but had a spare bit in his van which he put on so could install it. Great.0

When I was shopping around I noticed that the mainstream online stores like boots and saunsbury's were more expensive that the the less well known DRL powered stores. Given that they were all DRL I just went with the cheapest.
I did read up on them and found that all the reviews were equally mixed, so why nothing to lose by going for the budget end of DRLMy farts hospitalize small children0 -
DRL ltd are not a store they deal with the sales for Boots, Sainsburys, B&Q, M&S and Next to name a few. When the call centre answer the phone they say Boots appliances etc. but if you ask who they are they say DRL ltd. They also deal with aftersales and deliveries. Read some of the shopping reviews on such as Kellco uk.0
