Hmm other thread deleted, continue here.
Firstly, I would like to apologise if I offended a few ppl. But I will not apologise for not wishing to do certain jobs. Simple. Even if it means being unemployed for longer.

I was actually in the middle of my reply then!! - so here it is...
Do you actually want to be a teacher?
If you do then you should be more persistant. Treat it like a job application, think about what you have to offer them rather than the other way round.
I would send a full cv and covering letter to the headteacher and then follow up with a phone call a few days later.
Teach abroad? Why not? Plenty of people do. I have spent most of the past two years working and travelling overseas and I don't regret it at all.
I do know how you feel. Leaving uni is a shock to the system. Those three years went way too fast!
I'll never forget going into the job centre after I graduated and saying that I was looking for a ''graduate job'' - the looks on their faces!
I have learnt some hard lessons in those three years since I graduated and I'm sure you will.

Many thanks Loisa, I am actually looking into the JET scheme. Applications come out in october so that is a option, as well as INTERAC company for ALT positions. However my graduation is on the 29th January 2010 at Canterbury Cathedral which is where I receive my degree certificate which I may need to wait for.
I so cant wait till I get a job though. There is nothing worse than having to go to the job centre every 2 weeks. The place if full of drop outs, !!!!!! ectHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. It is, no snobbery intended. Also I apologise if I offended you, but I'm just rather fed up if I were to be honest of sitting around looking for work. And then proving to the JC that your not a bum and actually are looking for work.
Feels like you have to prove yourself 24/7Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Oh. Go. Away.
You are going to have to accept that you should have researched your prospects prior to uni rather than assuming a degree would get you somewhere. And then done everything you could to improve your CV.
Until you have a job you are 'below' people in jobs such as till work etc, so maybe you shouldn't get on your high horse and consider those jobs until you find something better-some work experience is better than none. You are not above anything as it stands, esp if you are claiming JSA.0 -

And you are in the same position as those 'drop outs' and '!!!!!!' so I would be quiet if I were you.0
