Thanks to the original posters for these.

I went to coment in Dundee and they indeed had the ML1510 printer for £34.99 but it was the last one and the toner cartridge was missing. They kindly offered me £5 off the price due to this massive defect. I politely said no and headed to Staples. They now have it marked as sold as seen with the missing toner cartridge (no mention of this on the £34.99 price tag though!)

At staples, they had the ML1610 for £49.99 and plenty instock, and a quick nip next door to PC world showed them at £79.99, but they do a price promise of 110% of the difference if you can find it cheaper elsewhere.

To cut a long story short got the ML1610 for £48.99 and the best bit - i got 3 years exchange warranty for the printer for £10 instead of £20 all for refusing the warranty at £20. Sales assistant just said can i interest you in the warranty for £20 and i said no so she then said what if it was £10 and i said ok go on then. Well worth it, but not sure how this would work at other stores.

Thanks again to original posters, still need cheap ink for my brother dcp110c if anyone knows and not inkcarts.co.uk as im in dispute with them and their customer service is diabolical sorry non existent. Trading Standards are now involved its that bad.

Shouldn't you have got it for £46.99 ?

    £79.99 - £49.99 = £30

    110% of £30 = £33

    £79.99 - £33 = £46.99 !!!!!

Comet take the toner out of these printers so they don't get nicked.
They found my toner in a filing cabinet out the back along with an envelope of bits.
