Refilled one of my friend's ML1510 and it was as easy as unscrewing few screws .. No idea where you could get cheaper .. but check this:

I bought one of these for £50 last year and its pretty good and fast!
One word of warning though (well not really a warning) - the cartridges in these printers to not come fully topped up. I seem to remember reading that they are only a third full when you buy the printer. My experience would support that view.
BUT the good news (as has been mentioned already), you can fill the existing cartridge yourself (probably up to 3 times) for much, much less than the price of a cartridge. In fact it would appear that this make and model is one of the easiest to fill yourself. Just google ml-1510 toner refill.0 -
Why only 3 times? Is it because of the drum in the cartridge?0

To be fair to them: The manual (p7.20) is specific on the issue:
Toner Cartridge Life: 3,000 pages (for starter, 1000 pages)
IDC 5% coverage0 -

This might just have been a special for the store (Sunderland), but the labels were computer generated, not the usual hand-written for store specials.
OOps that should be ML-1510 in the title.
Hi,
Thanks for posting this
How do you get the extra 99p off, as per the title?

None in the Bath branch.
Had a rather amusing conversation with the very friendly sales assistant on the phone where she explained that:
"...it might be more expensive in this store due to our everyday low pricing policy..." :S
Confused? I was!

P.S - Came up on their system at £49.99, they confirmed it was a discontinued line. What shall I put here?

I have an ML-1210 for a few years and in that time have spent less than a tenner on refilling the toner - it was as simple as popping open a cap with a screwdriver and pouring the toner in from a bottle.0

I'm not sure I want to fill myself due to the cancer powder
so is there anywhere that will do it for me? 0 -
For anyone that missed out on this 1510 at Comet for £35
STAPLES are selling the ML-1610 at the minute for £49 (reduced from £99)
