Due to problems with my normal Epson printer I had to add a HP printer and driver onto my pc this morning. This f*****g load of c**p has ballsed up my system. Every time I try to log in I have to go through more HP rubbish. When I try to download something I have a HP window pop up to sat I need to give the site permission to access the net.

Well mr bloody HP you are being deleted. I feel like a blooming Cyberman....LOL
Why do these companies have to make things so bleeding difficult?

And now every time I log in I have to go through even more crap caused by HP

OK rant over, for now anyway.

  • calm down dear! It's just a commerical. *ahem*

You shouldn't install any discs that come with the printer. Uninstall anything you've installed. All you need are the drivers which you can get up to date from their website.

I hate HP's bundled printer drivers. Only ever download and install the basic drivers from HP's website, never the full package (also available on the website)

At last - someone like me hates HP stuff (no you have my sympathy and total agreement) - over the years I've had a few HP printers and they have all been cr*p. Paper jams that you pull out the paper and half the cheap plastic wheels break and fly out.
Bought one last month - only because it was cheap - ha! Used it once and it refused to work ever again so launched it down the garden in frustration.
The HP Software??? - I got fed up of it so decided to uninstall it - Big Mistake! I lost all my personal stuff including all media files mp3's etc. All my registered software became mysteriously unregistered. The uninstall deleted everything. I think some HP "boffin" did this as a punishment to uninstalling his cruddy applications.
I will never buy HP again even their sauce:rolleyes:!
  • HP printers were one of the best out there, but over the years the quality of the printers and the once fairly reliable and stable drivers seem to be few and far between these days,

I would now think twice before buying HP, and would probably only buy a postcript one as they have always generally been the most stable printer driver

Don't buy HP full stop. 700+ spent on laptop, been repaired 3 times now for same problem and now broken again. HP customer service is appalling AVOID at all costs.
