Does anyone have any information about https://www.freelivefootball.tv who are offering live football and lots of other things for an introductory offer of £3.95 for the year. Is it legal (it says it is but it would wouldn't it). Any problems with it or is it just too good to be true. Help would be appreciated.

Rubbish.. would save your £3.95 a buy a pint down t'pub whilst watching footy there.
Being serious.. I dont know about this site specifically however I have seen exactly the same thing elsewhere. They basically link to free streaming tv channels from around the globe.
1) They are free channels and therefore a majority are poor at best.
2) A majority of these free streaming channels seem to come from China. So it may present a language barrier to you.
3) A FEW may have premiership games as they are not contracted like tv over here.. however they will have streaming limits on their server. Therefore maybe only the first 300 people on it will see it. If you drop the link.. thanks for coming.. you can forget the rest of the game.0 -
Thanks for that info. As I thought too good to be true but it's nice to hear it from someone else. Out of interest does anyone know if there are any good legitimate systems on line for watching football?Age & Treachery Will Always Overcome Youth & Enthusiasm !!

If you look back on some of the football newsgroups in Google, you'll find recommendations including some services where you have to pay.
The pay ones claim that you are guaranteed to get an available stream and it is restricted so it does not become over-subscribed. Whether this is true or not I don't know. Some people seem quite happy with the service.
You need to be able to sustain a stream at approx 400Kb/s for many services, so ADSL Max would be beneficial.0 -

I use these programs to stream footie over the net. You DO NOT need to pay to get this information though.
Try this site:
https://www.freefootball.uk.tt
Register for the forums and you will get access to a number of different guides for the various programs available.
It aso gives details of which games wil lbe shown, and on what channel.
Agreed, not as good quality as watchin on tv or down the pub, but its free so you can't really complain. You can get access to games not available on terrestrial tv/cable (specifically saturday 3.00pm kick off). Some do offer english commentary, although for those that don't, it is straightforward to sync it with radio 5 live web commentary.
Hope that helps
