ok well i will start by telling you the problem then ill ask how to resolve it.
im over loading my router thats running from the extension phoneline box with:
2PC's
2 laptops (wirelessly)
3 xbox 360's (1 wirelessly others wired)
psp (wireless)
wii
i also have another xbox 360 to add on but i was thinking of running a second router from the main phoneline whitch seems to block the router thats on the extended phoneline box so my question is, whats the best way to connect all the the stuff that needs connecting and have a router on my first and second floor?

For best ADSL performance the modem/router should be sited at the master socket. If all the extensions are hard wired then you may be ok just removing the ring wires from connector #3 on the faceplate of the master socket but running the router on a plug in extension is bad news. For phones on plugin extensions put the filter at the master socket end.
Regarding two routers - assuming the other one is an adsl modem/router do not connect up the phone wire - just running an ethernet cable from one of the ports on the active router to one of the ethernet ports on it will probably work but you'd be better off using a proper switch as you can get them with lots of ports quite cheaply.

Forgot to mention - the wireless on the second router may well not work connecting it up like that but there's no harm in trying it.0 -
