Hi,
I got a ball joint on my pug 407 replaced in february at my local garage. I claimed on my Warranty Direct aftermarket warrranty for the costs (cost me £50 excess + 20% of parts). I have done around 8000 miles since.
I have now heard the dreaded 'clunk' again. obviously i don't knwo for sure its the ball joint again but i suspect it may be.
Should this be replaced cost free by the garage?

If it is the same part then they should probably replace the part under warranty (of the part). I don't know about the labour though, not really the garages fault unless of course they fitted it incorrectly.
This could be fun OP..

cheers,
theres also the aspect of Warranty Direct having paid for the repair and how they fit into it.
Basically i paid for the work and then they refunded me less £50 plus 20% of the parts - can't remember how much it was.The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits0 -
Don't think it's anything to do with the warranty company as you arranged the repair.
As long as the garage supplied the ball joint as well as fitting it then they should replace it if it has failed again.0 -

If the ball joint was replaced under 12 months ago - and generally under 10k mileage, then the garage (if it is a good one
) should replace it foc. Genie
