i have split from my partner after 5 years, we ran up debts with a bank of £5.500 on a joint account that we have a ccj on in each name seperatly wanting full amount. we had it with payplan and since the split she has removed my name and i have received the judgement but nothing else so dont know what to do. we have agreed to pay half each which she says she is doing her half through payplan and i neednt worry as its a charge on the house not me, is this true really worried so any help will be great.

So long as the debt is being paid then i dont suppose you have much to worry about.

Is your ex in a debt management plan with Payplan or is she in an IVA?

An IVA will mean that she is only paying back a proportion of the debt (and you will be liable for the remainder), a DMP means the full amount will be paid back eventually (altho the creditor may hassle you in the mean time for a quicker repayment).
