My village,some facts: Penrhyn quarry,world`s largest slate quarry.
The quarry was the point of the longest ever industrial strike in the world of it`s time lasting three years,from 1900 to 1903.
IT`S home to Gryff,SUPER FURRY ANIMALS,Celt (welsh rock band),Maffia mr huws,a well known rock band of the 80,s , Deiniol Morris,creator of the animation of 'GOGS',John Ogwen,famous welsh actor,Margaret Pritchard,1980's newsreader.

Oh god tell me about it. My GP surgery is there. :rolleyes:

We stick to weekday evenings for any purchase requirements.
