Koom-ll-in-vell - if you are really interested in proper pronounciation, first you need to learn the w then the ll, then the f.
In Wales, as in England, a single f is pronounced "v", as in "of". The letter w is pronounced the same way, we just don't put the "uh" on the end of it - say it slowly and listen to yourself, "w" in English is two syllables, "oo" and then "uh", we just say the "oo" bit! Now, when it comes to the ll, trust me on this, it's a] one sound, just represented by two letters, not a doubled/strong sound and b] it's really easy to say if you actually do precisely what you're asked to
Start to make the sound of the letter L in English, but stop before you make a sound, ie just put your mouth and tongue in place to say "l", then hold your tongue still and breathe out very hard ...... try not to either blow your tongue out of your mouth or spit! The resultant sound is as close as you're likely to get to the Welsh "ll" without someone actually showing you.
There, any more questions?:rotfl:

Hello
Born and reared in Gowerton, then 3 years in Norwich, finally settled in Cardiff, and work in Caerphilly county. After floating about - renting in Cathays, Canton, Roath, Pontcanna, finally bit the bullet & bought a house in the Heath.
I've yet to abandon the Scarlets & Ospreys and start supporting the Blues though.0 -

Probably not entirely legal, but it does increase my chances of supporting a winning team most weeks! Technically I suppose, I support the Scarlets, but feel some sort of geographical obligation to the Ospreys.
God, you've confused me now...0 -
I'm from Rhyl (North Wales) originally, but lived in Durham, Bristol and Swindon before moving to Pontcanna, Cardiff 6 weeks ago :T with my bf who's from Swansea...0
