I grew up in Bristol, but went to University as a mature student in Swansea to study Economics 11 years ago. Met my husband there while he was doing teacher training (he's from Oxfordshire). We both loved Swansea but jobs moved us along the M4 to Bridgend for a few years and then further East to Chepstow 3 years ago. While I work in Bristol (Severn Bridge tolls therefore a sore point) I'm proud to still be in Wales, even if I'm clinging on by my fingertips!!

:xmassign: Hi everyone, I am originally from Staffordshire, then moved to Cheshire for 15 years. Moved to Bodfari, near Denbigh, last month. It is a beautiful place, but quite rural, so is taking me a bit of getting used to. I know north Wales quite well as my boyfriend lives in Conwy. This year is a bit of an experiment for me really. I sold my house in Wilmslow, and have invested my equity money. I'm using the interest from it to pay the rent on the barn I'm living in. I still work in Macclesfield, but have dropped down to just 2 days a week.

Just wanted to say hi to all the Welsh moneysavers, particularly to everyone in North Wales. Merry Xmas!
