Oh lucky you - lovely part of the world!

Bit nervous of putting Llanelli on here - we seem to have got Cardiff v Swansea going on at the mo, next it'll be jacks v turks!!! Although I've worked in Swansea for 15 years so I'm an honorary jack (ie, I say ba***rd alot!!!)

I love working in Swansea but I'm so glad I don't pay my rates there - the council are doing more damage than the Germans ever did in World War II!!!! As for shopping, it's Cardiff for me every time, even Carmarthen with all the farmers is better, and I know lots of Swansea people who come to Llanelli to shop, especially those in the west, Gowerton, Gorseinon, etc.... so Swansea must be bad!!! :rotfl:

PS: I know the Cardiff/Swansea thing is teasing, like the Jack/Turk thing I get in work, and once the rugby season starts back again, look out!!!!

funny you should say that, my next door neighbour is 85, and went into the town centre the other day, she came home, knocked on my door and said she thought it was world war two again!

Yes, great isn't it. Look out for a sellout on Satuday!
  • i dont bother going into the city centre now....to much hassle....plus others things that get my my nerves that i will not say.. sa i prob get shouted at.. for being anti...........plus the price of the parking......

when the kids go back to school next week lets see if we can meet up.. have a coffe/tea....nice cream cake....with little pinkie finger kinked /crooked as posh people do......in a nice posh ..hotel resturant.... or a nice greasy spoon with a lovely big mug of tea.... and a nice bacon sarnie....

and anyway with this banter between cardiff and swansea.... lets be perfectly honest here.....we both got poo football teams.....we both got docks....and we both got..... marks and spencers......and we both got high council rates.... and dont get the service to show for it......

so is there really any diff between the two:confused:

( i think i have just put the cat amoungst the pigeons hehehehehe:D )
