Brastop - Suspicious

hi,

Not sure where to put this but I tried to order from Brastop on Sunday and the site wouldnt allow me to checkout. I emailed them and they said to rin them at Customer service which I checked the tel no for and theyre the same. I have just done this and they have used the order at theyre end and I have given my details over the phone.

I'm just a bit worried as I asked why the site was playing up and she said it was my internet connection - does it sound suspicious to you?

I'm not sure........ I just have a bit of a suspicious mind. When I put my phone down it was showing a different no to the one I rang (a mobile) and I cant understand why the site would be down after such a long time and the reasoning that its my internet connection seems rubbish.

Sites like these often use a third party, such as worldpay to process payments. It could be they their site couldn't contact the payment processing site, so could not allow you to continue.

I thought they went bust cos fo the recession? Thats what it says on the shops that i pass by...

what shops? it is an internet company AFAIK
