glass bit found in takeway meal, what to do?

sorry wasnt sure where to put this as I'm after a bit of advice. bougth my lunch fromt he usual sandwich van that comes to our office everyday. had a sausage and onion baguette, first bit and i thought I had lost a tooth. Got it out and it looks like a bit of acrylic/plastic shard from something. Not sure if it was in the bread or the sausage. i will speak tot he sandwich man tomorrow when he comes but do I report it to trading standards or just get my money back and leave it at that. No lasting damage to me, but cant help thing what could have happend, ie broken tooth or swallowed it and worse!! Would never have know it come from that lunch. The sticker on the wrapper mentions a local cafe where he buys his stock from so dont know whether just to go in and hand it over or hold onto it....
