Yes, and it's also illegal under new laws and Experian's own police force will shoot you.

    No need for sarcasm.

I was told it does knock your credit score down if you don't offer a fixed landline number on a credit application.

Don't be silly. I don't give my number to anyone unless it's absolutely necessary. Doesn't and hasn't affected me. If someone needs it then you can give them a contact number via a relative.

    .

That could even be deemed as fraudulent, under certain circumstances, as well as making you very unpopular with your relatives.

Sounds like a great deal. Who is it with?

Orange: I was just out of contract when I renegotiated the £15 loyalty discount. Price was more important to me than the latest phone so I threatened to go to Three! My friend is also with Orange - she renegotiated 400 mins and 300 texts, unlimited browsing/ e-mail and a Blackberry for £15 a month in the summer. Now I know what they can offer .... ;)

Having said all that I am probably going to get a landline soon so I can have proper broadband instead of the dongle I have at present. It certainly won't be as cheap as I have now, but am considering cancelling the TV license and just watching iPlayer to save money. I really don't bother with TV much at all.

I said goodbye to BT recently, I wish that I had done it ages ago.

I have a cheap PAYG mobile phone ...............

I do not like using telephones anyway.
