Best way to remove a name of clothing

    another idea is to fold the label over and stitch that with embroidery thread.

    My kids have all worn second hand clothes, with and without names on them and I can honestly say that they've never once recieved any sort of comment about it. So I wouldn't worry too much.

    But if you want to get the label off then nick one stitch with the tip of a pair of sharp scissors and pull out each stitch with a pin.

    If it's not "permanent"pen it should come off with hairspray, it dissolves most markers and biro.
