You got to get through what you've got to go through to get what you want but you got to know what you want to get through what you got to go through.

I used Glowtec paints to do a star ceiling in my daughter's bedroom. It was quite easy to do and looks excellent. Stars glow well into the early hours.
I followed the approach detailed in the Glow Forum and bought a single pot of paint costing about £14

so you just used a 120ml tub of paint (@ £14.99) and dotted the stars onto the ceiling yourself rather than painting the whole ceiling? You got to get through what you've got to go through to get what you want but you got to know what you want to get through what you got to go through.0

I made a pile of templates for the constellations, stuck them up on the ceiling and then painted large spots for the main stars and then walked around the room randomly dabbing the ceiling for smaller stars.
I found that one of the medicine syringes (type you get in kiddie painkiller packs) are the best. You fill it and just give a little squeeze, apply to the ceiling and give a little swirl round to make a bigger star.
You do not need a £50 DVD. :-)so you just used a 120ml tub of paint (@ £14.99) and dotted the stars onto the ceiling yourself rather than painting the whole ceiling?0 -
