we pay £40 for a condensing combi in Dorset. No real idea if it's good or bad but he's always done a good job on our gas related stuff so happy to pay

My husband charges £45 + vat for a boiler service - makes no difference if its combi or condensing or standard. He takes around an hour to carry out the service.
This is the going rate where we live.

I pay around £40. I have a combi boiler and I live in the East Midlands.
Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning

    Bernlyn,
Can my husband come and work in your area if £60 to £70 is the going rate?
