just got garmin i3..how do i update ?

just bought a garmin i3 .. halfords £139 but did a price match of £129 from comet..

what do i need to do to get it running .....up to date ??


it says it is "software version 2.60"

if there is a later/better version what should i be doing. ??


ALSO.....i've read a few posts on speed camera database which would be good to have ... looks fairly complicated though downlooading/zipping etc .. through https://www.pocketworldgps.co.uk .. is that the way it's done ??


used the garmin for first time yesterday ... seemed very good...got me there !!.. one comment...with volume at maximum 5 .. still not really very loud..anything that can be done/changed ?

If you go to the Garmin website from the link below and start by downloading and installing the USB Drivers on your computer, once you have done that download and install the POI Loader, all explained on the website.
You then need to download the speed camera file from pocketgps and the additional POI's from MAFT's site, then combine the two into one folder(name it whatever you like), you can then open the POI loader and search for that new file you have created, and having plugged your Garmin into the computer download the folder to it.
