I started a thread in the NI Moneysaving Section
http://forum.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=NI;action=display;num=1104677176
but as more people click in this forum and this one is dedicated to Current Accounts I thought I would post it here too.
I just wanted to see other people's opinions and thoughts. If the mods don't like the double post please feel free to remove one of them and accept my apologies.

Cross-referring posts like this is the right way to do it, where something is relevant to two forums.
The wrong way is just to copy the whole post and stick it in 10 different places. That's just irritating!
So you've done it well. And I'll reply on the other thread, if it's something I have an opinion on!0 -
By telling you upfront I cannot see how you can complain. If you want an account to pay in cash try a building society.
The Post office also offer a basic account that only accepts benefits/pensions by BACS are they too breaking the banking code. I don't think so?
