contracting/Ltd company/PAYE/offshore/umbrella

I have been offered a job, it is not permenant but is contract, on PAYE or Ltd money. The Ltd is a better rate.
Are all these companies that say they can get you more money (less taxation) able to do this or is it all swings and roundabouts ? Umberella, offshore, self employed agency employed, etc.. Which is best

Travelling 38 miles a day to the one place of work, 12 hr shifts starting at 7am and finishing at 7pm, with no official break, just have short at bench breathers...

Please steer me in the right direction..

Thanks.
Steve
