I have an Ipod touch. I bought 2 albums on itunes today and when I went to transfer them to my ipod, it said there was not enough room on my ipod to transfer all the songs across.
It just transfered 1/2 the albums ( perhaps it did not approve of madonna or Mika?!)
So, a) How do I delete stuff on my album to make room? b) is there a way of seeing how much room there is left on my ipod?
Thanks for any assistance. I am useless with techy stuff......

`Save a little money each month, and at the end of the year, you'll be suprised at how little you have.

You'll find info on how much space is left on your iPod on the Summary tab in iTunes (plug in iPod, open iTunes, click on your iPod under 'Devices' - there's a bar at the bottom of the screen which shows how the space is being used.)
Probably the quickest way to remove songs is to create a playlist of all of the music you want on your iPod (File > New playlist > drag all the songs you want into the playlist) then on the Music tab, check 'Sync music', click 'selected playlists' and check the playlist you just created.0 -
I set my iPod to manually manage music. I think many frustrations expressed concerning iTunes stem from letting it manage your music automatically.
That way you'll be able to drag what songs you want to it, and when you want to get rid of one, you just delete it from the iPod.0 -
Simply untick all the items you no longer require in itunes, when it re syncs with your iPod these items will be removed. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

Unfortunately you can't delete songs from the iPod interface itself, which I always thought would be useful...I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something.
