Just bought my first house and need help on how to get my gas and electricty sorted... found the gas and electricity meters but they got card slots in them and i dont have any cards and me or the family dont know anything about using a card system. This may sound obvious to some of you but who do i contact about this, and also would it be possible to just pay by direct debit each month rather than using a card? Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

If you have a card meter you will need to ask your supplier(s) if you can change. It will depend on your credit history and the history of your property as to whether this can be done, and as to whether you will have to pay a security deposit (this is an amount of money the company hold from you, in case you end up being a none payer, and they can reclaim some from this amount). It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.
Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.0
