Hiya,
My mum's looking for a decent external DVD/CD player for her computer and I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a good one?
She only needs it to play her CD's and maybe the odd DVD though the DVD part isn't essential. Burning discs goes way over her head bless her, so is a writer essential?

You can get an external DVD±RW drive for around £35 these days. External DVD-ROM drives cost only a few pounds less, so they're not really worth bothering with.0
