Ideally you want to use a desktop publishing programme... how do you intend to get them printed? Are you doing it yourself or using a professional printers - if it is the second then you need to find out what formats the printers accept as there is no point using a package which they dont support.

You can use pretty much any program you please, but your printer will prefer it if you give them a pdf file which you can generate from pretty much any application with this free software.

If you don't give them a pdf file they may curse you, or even worse charge you more!

If you want to make your life easier find a friend with one of the following (in order of ease of use in my humble opinion) who will lend you thier computer

    Adobe Indesign
    Quark
    Adobe pagemaker.

    Good luck!
