PayPal Payment Problems Today ??

I've just tried to pay for a E-Bay item via PayPal and my Credit Card was refused, I tried 3 times in all. I've had no problems in the past with this card, last time i used it was last week on PayPal.
I phoned Paypal and they said their computers are down at the moment and can only give general advice out. They said they are experiencing payment problems at the moment though!
I'm just hoping i don't get charged for the 3 times I've tried even though payment was refused.
Anyone else having problems or Anyone else having NO problems with PayPal today ?

Might be taking the opprtunity to do some site maintenance over the holiday.

I would email your seller and just relax. Will probably come back when the States wake up!!

I've just phoned PayPal again and they accessed my account this time, They said they are having problems accepting Credit Card payments, its the clearing houses end, what ever that means. They expecting it fixed for tomorrow.
