As my screen name suggests, I have received a phone call on Friday(18/9/09) from TVHA stating that they have reserved funds for us. We applied in April and by the time we had found anywere they had run out of money.
They now have the funds(people backed out or lost mortgages), we just need to find a house and then start this process going.....
any hints at all greatly appreciated.

be aware that valuations are increasingly coming up short of the price of the property and they are looking for a deposit even on FTB schemes, is it a new build you are looking for?
Before finding a house i'd start the process by a look at how much you are able to realistically borrow.0
