Hi Beat the Debt, thanks for reading my diary.
Friday i made a money reducing change. I rang and reduced my mobile bill by £5 per month and can reduce it by another £5 this time next month and so on.
Today was a no spend day as haven't been out. Got some tidying done and lots of washing, which now means there is a big pile of ironing to be done.
I found loads more stuff to go on eBay so while OH is a work next weekend i will get all my photos done, measurements, descriptions etc ready for the next free listing day.
Going to aim not to spend anything tomorrow but i do owe my OH £9 so will have to give that to him tomorrow. But as long as i'm very careful for the rest of the week i shouldn't have to spend anything this week. Apart from the £6 to have my eyebrows done on Wednesday but then won't need this done again until beginning of Nov.
Am back to the gym on Tuesday as will wait until the new year to cancel my subscription. Need to get a bit of weight off before i feel happy to get rid of the gym membership, but i'm certainly going to get the most for my money.
Missymoo - i was catching up on your thread and it sounds like you have really got into this. I need to do a bit more. I've signed up to some survey sites and it is fun doing those so will have to keep up with this.0 -
hey hun it sounds like you have really got into a good mindset with this. Well done :T
I'm desperate to lose some weight too!!! It's so hard isn't it.
I'm sure you'll manage your no spend week apart from obvious things. I want to have a no spend week too but I want to have my eye lashes tinted tomorrow, oh the things we do to look half decent .
good luck on the surveys, and I'll keep reading.

Oops - yesterday wasn't a no spend day. I wanted to order some prints of my photos from holiday and suddenley remembered i have 439 pre-paid credits on snapfish from last year. So i ordered 90 prints and cause they were pre-paid i saved £8.60 but i forgot you had to pay postage so that cost me £1.49.
But in a few days i get a nice delivery of loads of pics and can put some new ones in the frames in our lounge.
I'm at work already and remember to bring my lunch so no spending needed there.
Also feeling very strong as i think the new Mariah Carey album is out today (am a huge huge fan) and i have resisted buying it today. I'm sure i can get a copy from a friend and then maybe ask for an original for Xmas.0 -

It is very hard losing weight, my main problem is snacking at work but from Thursday this week i am training someone for at least two weeks so will have them sat with me - hopefully this will help put an end to my snacking.
We do have to treat ourselves once in a while and while most people might not think this, having my eyebrows shaped is a treat (plus my eyebrows look strange and disappear if i don't do them as am blonde).
Have a good day x

sounds like you are doing superwell and are really motivated today...... good on you resisting the album no doubt one of your friends or family will have it at some point, I always find that anyway.
I'm so glad that Christmas is on it's way, I have tried to budget for it and it's really helping me with the stuff I see and really want I can resist buying them because I just tell myself to put it on my Christmas list and hopefully i shall get it that way at no cost to me...... If I didn't have christmas to look forward to I don't know how I'd cope, I don't think going cold turkey would be very good at all!! oh dear sorry no pun intended with christmas and cold turkey in the same sentence lol.
Have a good day hun0 -
Well i have already got my money for Xmas set aside - i've been saving each month as i have so many birthdays between now and Xmas as well so it is an expensive time! It is really nice to look forward to Xmas and making my Xmas list year will be easy as normally if i wanted something i would by it now i will appreciate it more as i have to wait for it.
And woo hoo today was another no spend day!!0 -

Well yesterday wasn't good - went to the docs (i'm ok) and came out with 2 perscriptions so that cost me £14.40!!!!!!
I have my beauty lady coming tonight to do my eyebrows which will be £6 so other than that there should be no spending today!
Got lots planned for the weekend, loads of stuff to ebay, OH is at work so plenty of time to myself.0
