A slight change of plan for tomorrow. Not only will I be doing today and tomorrow's lists but I will also be painting 2 walls in the kitchen.

The plasterer came this evening and gave a very reasonable quote (hence why we use him) and is coming on Monday. I think that with a bit of extra work we can get the kitchen painted up and finished by the time my folks come to stay in 9 days time! We are tiling at the weekend and the flooring is being laid on Tuesday. I have got tomorrow aand Thursday to get the painting done and it should be perfectly manageable  my parents don't even know that we had a new kitchen fitted last year so to have the room finished will really show it off in all its glory.

Wish me luck, I really have my work cut out over the next week. At least my house is almost ready...just need to do the room they will be staying in too

See you all tomorrow, I will need lots of HHCs to get this lot done.

    Evening everyone!

I've managed to get online tonight as everyone left school early tonight to go to a Spanish course and I was the last teacher in school cos I'm not going on the course! Have brought home a massive pile of science books to mark, but managed to get all of my maths books marked after school tonight so they are all up-to-date. I'm on a course in Worthing tomorrow so have had to get everything ready for tomorrow in advance. Colleague and I are planning our maths for next week at her house tomorrow after the course, but that shouldn't take too long, as we know roughly what we're going to do for the week. Then on Saturday morning, both colleagues are coming over to do a bit of our Spring planning. Was up til midnight again last night, finishing the predictions for reading, writing and maths for my class for their levels in December, April and July, and handed them in this morning, to find that most people haven't handed their's in yet! This seems to be happening a lot in school at the moment - I'm killing myself to get things in by their deadlines, and other people aren't bothering about them. Still, had a really good day today, compared to the absolutely rubbish day that I had yesterday, where I ended up coming home in tears at the end of the day. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow. Haven't stopped all day, and have just made and cooked dinner too, but still feel hyper - don't know what's the matter with me at the moment. Must be loads of adrenaline running through me or something, despite me having a cold and being all bunged up and not sleeping.

Flying wise, I've had a good tidy of my classroom as I wanted to make sure that it was nice and tidy for when I get back on Monday. I'm becoming quite particular about how things are kept at the moment. Will have to get up early and have a good fly around on Saturday morning as my colleagues haven't seen the house in quite such a mess before. Will be interesting to see my colleague's house tomorrow as it will be the first time I've been round.

Hope everyone is keeping well. Big hugs to those who need or want them. I'm off to watch How Clean is Your House on plus 1 in a minute, but need to wash my hair first. Will clean the bath whilst I'm in there.

Night night everyone. Hope to get on again at the weekend.

    sexymouse xx

well no flying for me today im afraid. I started my new job today, and was going to start after dinner, however, I took a walk down to the shop and somehow, ive done my knee in. I dont know what ive done, but, its really sore, so im hobbling about quite a bit.

Hopefully it will ease off for tomorrow, and when I come home from work tomorrow I will be able to catch up on todays and tomorrow flying.

Someone what talking about spiders, well, to say I am petrified is an understatement. If I am in the house myself I wont pick up anything from the floor incase there is a spider under/on it. I always ask DH or DS to pick it up. I wont sit with my feet on the floor, and I wont sit on the floor. I cant even look at them I have to have it taken away. Ive seen me running into my next door neighbour and asking her to come and take it away if DH or DS isnt in. And to show you how bad I am, one time I was on the top landing, and a spider was on the floor coming towards me, I literarly (sp) flew down the stairs, and landed very badly and broke my wrist and a couple of ribs. I know I should get this seen to, but, Im too scared to do this.
Its getting to that time of year when they are all starting to come into the house because its getting colder, and we seem to get really big ones, even Dh who isnt bothered by them has commented on how big they are.

Zoe, I will be thinking of you tomorrow even though I have only been on this board for a week. My sisters ex husband was abusive to her. He tried to stangle her, force her wedding ring down her throat, broke her fingers oh all sorts of stuff. I am so glad that you are out of that horrible horrible situation. You WILL become stronger you might not be now, but in the future you will, because you wont let anybody treat you like that again. YOU ARE A STRONG WONDERFUL WOMAN WHO HAS 2 BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN, AND YOU WILL RULE YOUR WORLD. Please believe that because that sorry excuse of a man is nothing but a coward. I know he is the father of your children, but, he is a coward.

Anyway, I am off now to do some wordsearch and put my feet up in the hope my knee gets better.

Hugs to everyone who needs them (sorry im not familar with everyone yet, I only remember Zoe because of what happened with my sister).

    Jackie
