toots sounds like a very busy and productive day
hope you can take it easy for the next few days.
I have had a CBA kind of day! I felt v angry with a couple of people and generally pee'd off so rather than sit and fester I went to see my mate. We had a good chat and a laugh over a pot of coffee which helped enormously.
This evening Miss A and i have been talking and deciding on headstones for DH and although this will sound weird we had a good laugh about it as well. Think we have settled on the wording and have a shrewd idea on shape and colour. Now I need to go and see in the masons and discuss what we think. Will take Miss A (she loves to be part of everything) once the basics are thrashed out. I am hoping we can get this sorted for Christmas.
So all in all no flying to speak of but feel like I have achieved something.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -

Hi all
Not much of an update, really. I didn't get to sleep until 2pm last night (working late) and Wednesday is my busiest day at work. On a normal day I'd have been in with a chance for a star (our bedroom isn't too bad and I did all bedding last weekend), but I completely blew it when I came home and started reading the thread, instead of just getting on with it.
Now my question. My stainless steel sink is constantly covered in marks, because we have very hard water. Short of immediately drying everything I wash and polishing the lot everytime I turn the tap on, I don't know what to do to keep it sparkling. Any ideas?
Best wishes to you all for a good day tomorrow, especially everyone who is facing a tough time. Reading your messages certainly puts things into perspective for me. :grouphug:0 -

Woop woop! Nearly there! Kitchen is looking great, when i open the cupboards nothing falls out, I dont have to rake - all the tupperware boxes that dont have lids, all the lids that didnt have boxes........are GONE!! All gone
The cupboard under the sink has had pathetic attempts at trying to sort it out, but its done now properly and all divided into little baskets which line up on the shelf. Probably a TAD ocd.....but let me enjoy the moment
Ive started the larder, but will finish the rest of that tomorrow hopefully, and then I only have the DISHES cupboard and the POT cupboard left to do!! Then its mostly the dining room....and to be fair once I can get the sideboard in there, things will actually have a home to go to.....its the filing is the biggest problem!
Anyway, off to bed, good night folks xxxSometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying
