Woo hoo! Just finished friday's list so that's another 5 star week for me - yay! All I've got left this weekend is HH exercise and then hopefully keep the place reasonable!

So now I'm hoping to indulge in dying my hair, doing my nails, plucking my eyebrows and sorting my outfit and fascinator for next week's family wedding! Awesome! Also making intricate Mexican food tonight, where I promise I will tidy up after myself!

  • Hi all, been very naughty with housework this week and I've not done much at all. I really have to get myself into gear but seriously lacking motivation at the moment.

Hope all are well, hugs to all those who need them of course!

    Happy Birthday Valli :):bdaycake:

Congratulations on your wedding anniversary Dusty :)

    Well done Zoe :):starmod:

Haven't caught up properly yet, just posting quickly first.

It's turned into a nice afternoon - dried two loads of washing which has been folded and put away. Otherwise, just vacuumed through downstairs and pootled around. DH has gone fishing for the weekend. Tomorrow morning I'm going to the garden centre with DD1 and DD2 is coming home from holiday tomorrow evening, though I won't see her until Monday.

    Back later.

Happy Anniversary to you too cyclingyorkie :)

Good wishes being sent for your nephew Toots.

Good afternoon  Not caught up properly, but I'm now HOME ALONE after decluttering DH to China (and the children yesterday to Explorer Camp). I'll miss DH, but looking forward to my evening in (long, deep bubble bath, with my book and a glass of chilled Chablis; spaghetti and my special sauce; more wine; box of chocs; Strictly on the TV :T). I might pop bakc here with some wine

DH and I have spent the day in the garden - what a beautiful day in this part of The North :D The children will have had a great time, especially as they're bivouacing tonight :eek::eek:

I've also spent an hour tidying the board - the front of OS looks like ementhal :o :rotfl:

    Congratulations to The Dusties :A

    Congratulations to The Yorkies :A

Happy Birthday to Valli - have this cake :rotfl:

Toots - hugs to you and yours :A

Off to find my list, and do something before I flop for the evening :D

    My extras
    1. List table on ebay
    2. Make card for mum
    3. Sort out presents and check lists (Santas Challenge for Oct)
    4. Make BD card
    5. Practice run at Christmas cards
    6. Craft stock inventory
    7. Wrapping kit inventory
    8. Ask brother for hm coldframe pressie idea
    9. HH-garden tidying!
    10. 15 minutes filing
    11. Wash windows outside
    12. Finish getting ready for winter list
    13. Empty and clean and tidy the butcher's block
    14. WII EXERCISE!!!!!!!!!!
    15. 101 in 1001 list
Things left to do in the house other than cleaning!
    • Clear out the celler and attach insulation
    • Repair extractor fan
    • Repair toilet seat and handle
    • take down old shed and repair roof on the other one and put all the stuff in it
    • Move TD into celler
    • Decorate my bedroom and spare room
    • Put a real fire into LR
    • replace kitchen and bathroom
Achieved 4 big things from the extras list. A marathon ebay listing session - once they're on they're on and can be relisted quickly if they don't sell :D

Kitchen larder cupboard all cleaned and tidied up and baking goods inventory done. Found a tin big enough to store one Christmas cake in. Will have a scout around for another one, I'm sure there will be one somewhere.

Spare room decluttering nicely if things start selling on ebay, which is a nice thought. When I sorted some more things out for listing I realised how much I had decluttered in there this year which was a very nice feeling indeed and means I can get closer to my aim of decorating in there next year (at long last!)

hello all from a VERY DRY VALLI (woo hoo)
thanks for all the good wishes.

Happy Anniversay to Dusty and Mr Dusty and Cycling Yorkie and Mr Cycling Yorkie

It's also the The Major's WA so he did the right thing which meant we all had to troop off to the chippy for lunch (usually the Major and his wife cater for us) so that was good, also the scouts joined us this year so we got through it all pretty quick. And lunch was free - fish and chips iin the open air - delish) As I had my wellies on I decided to mow the lawns and, what with visitors turning up with gifts and flowers I made somewhat slow progress:D:D:D:D:D:D:Dbut all done now so am about to go get in the bath.
Oh! I have a Wii fit.
apparently I said I wanted one - I can't remember actually ever wanting one I probably said I could do with one to get fit. I was taken at my word so THAT was a surprise...but I DO appreciate it. It was from my sisters.
And the card from my daughter says
    (in her writing)
    Everyday I love you more
1 million times love and kisses
    Looby
