Claiming ppi from rbs should I ask for interest

I have had an offer of the return of premiums of just over £5,000 but they have not offered any interest. Should I ask for interest? If so how much? Any advice appreciated.

What interest do you mean? Was this a loan or credit card? Do you mean interest on the PPI of a loan or statutory interest?0

I mean the interest on the PPI payments. They have agreed to pay back all the premuims paid but have not mentioned interest. The PPI was on top of a loan (still on-gong) but I never asked for PPI as I knew I would not be covered by it.0
