My girlfriend is due to renew her insurance this week, she has been driving for nearly 5 years, but she has 6 years NCD on her documentation from her current insurers.. This is due to elephant giving an accelerated no claims scheme, allowing you to build up a years no claims quicker than with another insurance co. Is this a good scheme until you want to move to a new co?
When she takes out a new policy with another company, what does she tell them? 6? 5?
cheers

I guess it is all down to whether they allow the accelerated bonus to be carried over. Some do some don't. I guess the only definitive way would be to call elephant and see what they say.War does not decide who is right, It decides who is left.0

I've never been with the same insurers for longer than a year as the premiums always go up alot for the second year (for no apparent reason). I have been with admiral twice and every year for the past 8 years, Elephant has been one of the most expensive. I've always wondered why when they are owned by the same company.0
