FTB Need Help!

Me and my OH have started the scary road to buying a house!
We have been to the banks for a mortgage in principle and have saved just over 10k deposit. We have looked at 5 houses this week and another 5 next week and the 1st one we saw I loved!
Just wondering if I'm rushing into it  Only we've been renting for 2 years now, we only planned to stay for a few months then the credit crunch hit and now I'm fed up here!
What sort of questions should I ask the estate agent about the ones we like? was thinking - how long on for? how many viewings? any offers?
The house I like is £109,950 and has been on for a couple of months, how much would you advise to offer if we decide on that one?
Thanks for your help in advance!

Those questions are a good start but make sure you do your own research - there are many resources on the internet for house prices, e.g. mouseprice.com, nethouseprices.com etc. Home.co.uk has quite a good house price tool too. All source their data from the Land Registry so show you the actual price paid.

    Good luck with the search!
  • Hey good luck.

i would also reccomend getting property bee you then will be able to view lots of extra info fthrough rightmove such as the date hosues were put on and any changes in information or price during that period.
