I don't know if anyone else on here has joined Pink Wishes. I joined earlier this year and love picking freebies that I want to claim. Originally I paid £10 for a one year membership and you could get freebies for just the postage but now you have the option to pay £25 for the year and then claim one freebie every 2 weeks without paying postage. I am assuming that firms provide the freebies in exchange for the promotion it gives them so the more people join the more freebies there will be to claim. You also get the chance to review items and then keep them. I just love getting these extra treats in the post especially if my comp wins are a bit few and far between.

Just a small point but I looked at the Pink Wishes site and noticed the symbols on their compacts are the same (or very very similar) as the Breast Cancer Campaign pink ribbon, but the site does not appear to have anything to do with the charity. Not saying its a rip off or anything but things like that make me suspicious....

I'm in Pink Wishes. I've sent off for freebies and they've come - though it's first one first serve, and sometimes things go fast. I don't think it's anything to do with Breast Cancer Care, it has wishes people/companies grant, and freebies, and info on general stuff as well as cancer.
  • thanks op i just joined do you just email them to get giveaway stuff? just wondered.
  • how good is this site? is it worth the money?

do you often get items to review and how easy is it to get the freebies when they are available?

i'm tempted to join but i'm on such a tight budget i think i should get some first hand information from some mse'ers before deciding

Yeah, but you get the make up bag and compac automatically (you did when I joined anyway).
I've been in it about 6months, and I'd say I've had my money's worth. Though the giveaways are stuff companies and people have given Pink Wishes - so it can be a bit random.
I don't know how often you can review stuff. I've only asked once. You can request a freebie once a week.

The give aways are first come first severs, and I've requested stuff a few times that someone lese has gotten. The bulk of the giveaways are on site a while, so you get them no bother (I've gotten about 3 DVDs, a necklace, a few pairs of earings, seeds and some other things). But if something really cool comes on it it'll be gone fast.

    current freebies: http://pinkwishes.co.uk/Free.htm

Sometimes it can be a bit slow being updated (I think it's a one woman company), I requested, and got, the Ugly Betty/Diet Coke things that are on there yesterday evening.

I've had my moneys worth I reckon and then some. I paid for my membership through money I had on Paypal from doing Lightspeed surveys so in a way it felt like it cost me nothing. I would have got even better value had I not waited weeks before requesting my first freebie cos I was waiting for a wii game to get posted. Now I request something as soon as I can rather than wait for anything in particular.

So they get freebies like many websites do, and then instead of giving them away like most websites do they charge you for the possiblity of getting them, and then charge you so that you can actually get the stuff?

Wow- with that kind of [STRIKE]scam[/STRIKE] business model they could at least design a website that doesn't look like something barbie threw up.:D
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine. :p
