Weird problem with web pages

Got a problem that seems to have started out of the blue.
When a page loads, it automatically jumps to the bottom and I can't scroll to the top.......trying to scroll only causes the page to 'jump' or 'flicker' to an extreme degree.
Just run cc, got Norton Antivirus and Firewall, Spybot and Spyware Blaster. Nothing dodgy showing up.
Any ideas?

could the problem be your mouse?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0

yes could be a problem with your scroll wheel on your mouse, test this by loading a document in mircorsoft word etc, if it does the same thing and drops to the bottom then it is mouse for sure.0

have you made any changes to your Graphics card or its drivers? if yes, edit>undoo!0

Which browser are you using?
Definitely had this problem before myself. I think it was mouse related as mentioned above."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
I have the same problem myself on the dell inspiron 6000 laptop.
it is 100% not mouse related as i have tried different mice and the laptop in built one. I am using Internet Explorer 7 at its a widescreen laptop.
Not sure if either one of them are the reasons but if the op has similar attributes we could find the answer!
Either way in word etc it all works fine. I get it mainly on myspace profiles!!!![FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

Thanks for replies everyone.
I've had an issue similar to this in the past that I thought was the mouse, but this was a little different in that the page wouldn't move up (whereas it did before).....it would just flicker.
Anyway, Word was fine - it was just web pages that were affected.
Restarting the pc didn't help but switching off and leaving for 5 minutes and then cold booting did.
As for the graphics card, it has been changed....but that was about a month ago & there weren't any issues.
It seems to be ok today so fingers crossed it was 'one of those things'.
(Using I.E. 6 btw.....19" Viewsonic monitor - not widescreen)Herman - MP for all!0 -

I had this problem for ages intermittenly, changed my mouse twice, did all the scan stuff etc. and finally realised that every time it happened my keyboard shelf was out slightly from under the desk and I was leaning on the space bar0

It would seem its a common problem with internet explorer and latest patches!
