Losing freeview channels

Hey all

I've got a intergrated Freeview tv and a separate set top box for another tv. On both I keep losing some channels, like the radio ones. I've tried re-tuning but they haven't come back.

I've only had freeview for a month and when I first set it up I had all the channels. Then almost 2weeks later I noticed I'd lost the radio channels. On week 3 we had a storm which knocked out all the aerial in my flats so had no tv for 5 days. Upon re-tuning once aerial worked again I had all the channels. But now a week later I've lost the radio ones again!!

I do live in South Wales where the analogue has recently been turned off and we had to re-tune Sept 9th (which I did).

I've tried re-tuning today but no joy with finding the channels.

Can anyone suggest anything?

TIA

You have probably answered you own question , and it points to your communal aerial, or the distribution amplifier.
I'd get it checked or at least see if you neighbours are having problems
That gum you like is coming back in style.

given you are digi only it maybe worth the whole block paying for a new aerial or at least getting the installation checked,if it points to being faulty
  • It's a rented property so I'll guess I need to speak to LA to check with management company

    Thanks

flutterbyuk25: On my Freeview box the actual channels seem to come and go quite regularly, requiring a re-scan. It probably isn't your set-up at all, just the changes that occur in the channels available in your location.
