cheapest way to call a UK mobile in France from a BT landline

Hi, I know this is somewhere on the site, but can't find it - at the weekend (mostly, Monday also possible) what's the cheapest way for someone in the UK to call a UK mobile no in France - BT landline or use an override operator and if the latter, how do I check which one?
Call checker does not have UK on intl dialling as we're in the UK.
Sorry if dumb question.

If it's a UK mobile number, then it doesn't matter where the mobile handset is that you are calling; you pay the same no matter where it is.

It is the recepient who will be charged to receive the call when abroad.

thanks guys. Just seen the bad news on recipient's charges!
It's cheaper for recipient to leave UK mobile at home and use PAYG there to call and receive calls - euro for pence.
T mobile are 70p to receive or make calls. Orange France are 70c.
M*rde.
This belongs on the mobile thread as haven't the EU just told them to make it cheaper?
