Remember deadline for voting by post is one week today (28 May) - if you didn't complete the validation form last October and don't vote in the SGM you won't get any windfalls subject to the demutualisation being approved. Need to confirm you details with them.MFW 2015 #41 = £20,515/£20,515

computershare provide a share register service to a number of companies from small to large, also provide share dealing services. When (or if) shares are issued computershare are likely to be responsible for the issue of share certificates rather than direct from Standard Life.
I received my voting forms and have voted, checked on the site, and yes they have received my vote.:j0 -
Ditto, taylornj's last 2 lines. Very useful service.0

Just to confirm absolutely not a scam. As mentioned above they are a highly reputable company and indeed the link given was that contained within the email issued by Standard Life last weekend as a reminder to any potential voters.MFW 2015 #41 = £20,515/£20,515

Will need to post your form by Friday.
According to the papers some 500,000 people are haven't confirmed their details and/or returned their voting form so won't receive their demutualisation entitlement IF the vote goes through. Crazy people!MFW 2015 #41 = £20,515/£20,515

This is not true - you will still receive your shares regardless of whether you have returned anything.0 -

I dont think this is right, I think they just waive there right to vote and have to abide by the outcome of the voting, they will still however get the shares or otherwise when the form arrived on my doorstep to send back it wouldnt of had 245 shares but something saying, Shares will be allocated to those who return the voting forms on the basis of how many we get back.
And that wouldnt happen.0 -
I've just spoken to Standard Life on their help line and they confirm that not being registered to vote on demutualisation will not affect windfall entitlements...though it will stop you voting for the dm. The helpful guy said that after the vote there will be another opportunity for policy holders to confirm their details with SL in June and if/when the dm has gone through windfalls will be paid irrespective of previous registration and voting.
Hope that calms a few nerves (own included).Just because somebody is certain doesn't mean they are right!0
