  • Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone can help please?

My family of 5 is travelling to Florida next month. It will be our 3rd visit - the first being in 2000 and the last 2004. However, each time we have gone the family has increased in size - in 2000 we only had to buy 2 adult tickets and 1 child ticket. In 2004 we bought 2 adult tickets and 2 child tickets.

We have some days remaining on all the tickets (they were all non-expiry ones). This time the family comprises 4 adults and 1 child (the two children are now over 9).

Does anyone know how much it is to upgrade tickets from, say 1-2 days to 5 days or will the following work:

Purchase 3 x adult Magic Your Way tickets (from Disney in US$ as much cheaper than the UK ultimate/premium tickets) and the remaining adult and child use up the days on the old tickets. Only issue I can see is that the old tickets will be in a variety of family member's names.

I have heard that each person is finger-printed when they enter the park, but presumably if only I use each adult ticket and my wife uses the new MYW ticket then I should be ok...

Does anyone have any experience of trying this or adding further days to existing tickets to help me work out the most cost-effective way for all 5 of us to spend 5 days at Disney.
