I have been given a pillow top bed by friens, but it has a brownish stain on it. Would anyone know what would remove it without damaging the bed at all?

use a steam cleaner or try a mousse type fabric cleaner.the mousse will lift stains to the top so you can wipe them away.
spray the mousse onto the pillow top, leave for a minute then wipe off with damp cloth.
a car upholstery cleaner/mousse maybe cheaper than other products and it will do the same job.
the stain could be fake tan??? used mousse on mine for this reason - i now have a quilted mattress protector on.0
