Problem with screen view

Hi I hope someone can help me - I dropped something onto my keyboard wile the computer was switched on and now I don't have my toolbar at the top or the bottom displayed. I'm not sure what buttons were pressed.
If I roll my mouse over the top I can see a basic toolbar (ie with just my tabs, the web address bar and my forward/back buttons plus the favourites button). If I hit the windows key I can get a view of my tabs at the bottom but I'd really like things back to normal - can anyone help???
