Hi All

I wonder if anyone can help me..bit confused.(doesn't take much)
I bought my first house in November and since then have sorted all my bills out and get them as low as possible but the only ones i havent looked at yet is the Gas, electric & Water.

Gas & Electric is with British Gas
Water is on a meter and hardly have used this as myself and Gf work throughout the days and I shower at the gym so Gf the only one who showers.

Electric is used bout 3 hours a night for the tv. Nothing is left on Standby throught out the day. Apart from Sky Plus for recording!

The max we use the heating is 3 hours a night.. and now weather is better we hardly use that.

Some days and nights we only sleep there and nothing is used.

Can anyone recommend a company which will best suit a light user for Gas and Electric?? I dont understands the bills and just wanted to check Bristish Gas are best suited for us!

Many Thanks and hope all this makes sense!
Richie

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Name Dropper Combo Breaker
If you are a light user then Ebico is the company for you. Their unit prices are not the lowest but they are flat rate, that is there is no standing charge or higher tiered rates. That should benefit you.

:j I'm with powergen dual fuel and have been for 5 years now they have been quite good to me so far, I use low energy bulbs free from powergen I get 4 a year, and last september I jumped on the capped energy thing which they say when it runs out will put me straight onto another one, so I'm grateful to them for that, I put my water on boost for 1 hour when ever I want hot water, I boost my heating in winter for 1 hour as it saves alot, I'm quite a heavy user for electric but my q bill is never more than £100 in the winter, my gas last summer was £19.00 but that's with standing charge so I went standing charge free on both g/e and I'm quite happy with them, I even got a fridge/freezer for £75.00 2 years ago now this summer when they had a saver scheme running, hope this help's, T
