Can i as a beneficiary or can 1 executor get legal advice and some kind of letter sent out to an other executor who is refusing to sort out a will??
There are 2 executors of my grandads will and the tax man has just sent his letter asking for his dues to be paid, one of the executors has drafted letters to the bank to find out how much there is in there and needs to have my grandads property valued, but the other executor is refusing the estate agents access to the property until a family feud is sorted (see "Blackmail over a will..... please help)
My worry is that the executor that is trying to sort out the affairs properly will become liable (as will the other executor) if the tax isn't paid on time, and i don't see how its fair on the one executor who is trying to sort things out to end up paying because the other executor is being a pain in the proverbial

There's this place in me where your fingerprints still rest, your kisses still linger, and your whispers softly echo. It's the place where a part of you will forever be a part of me.

I dont see why there should be restrictions on anyone getting legal advice about anything. I would suggest this person goes ahead and sees a solicitor about it all.0

Alas, if this goes completely pear-shaped all the legal fees will eat way at the estate until there's nothing left for the beneficiaries0

This is what we think the other executor is trying to do unfortunatly, the only thing i can think of doing is to try and have him removed as an executor
Neither of the executors have signed the grant of probate yet is it possable for one to sign without the other or will that cause a bigger row??
One of the executors has taken on the role that he was asked to do as my grandad thought it would be all nice and simple and he has paid all outstanding bills and is organising payment for the funeral, he has kept all the recipts yet the other executor wants to get him done for fraud!! even though its all been paid out of the executors own pocket.
Its all a huge mess all because the other executor is a greedy, manipulative waste of space!!There's this place in me where your fingerprints still rest, your kisses still linger, and your whispers softly echo. It's the place where a part of you will forever be a part of me.
